Do you take commissions?

I do not usually take commissions. I am at my best when I am painting the light and creating journeys in my paintings and I need to be connected where I choose to stand and paint.

How do I buy your artwork?

Sometimes my artwork is for sale in galleries and exhibitions, but mostly I sell artwork myself through my website. Subscribe to my newsletter and you will receive advance access to my artwork sale pages when they are released. You will be sent a password to log in and you will be able to directly buy artworks before the page is accessible by the general public. If you have bought an artwork from me before, you will have the very first access to my sale page and you will also receive a 10% off discount code.

Can I learn to paint with you?

Yes! I occasionally run short painting trips and courses. All details will be released in my newsletter so make sure you sign up. Any currently running courses will be added to my website.

What medium do you paint in?

I paint in oils, usually Schminke Norma Blue oils which are highly pigmented and excellent quality. I am concerned about the environment and these oil paints are non-toxic and water soluble, which means that I don’t have to carry hazardous solvents around which can be the case when using normal oils. I have previously painted in acrylics, but I found I was spending more time managing to keep my paints wet and workable than I was painting! water-soluble oils are the perfect solution for me.

Where can I buy your easel?

I make my own easels, and they are not for sale - yet! I have a small one which takes paintings up to 30cm, a medium one for paintings up to 60cm, and a massive one which takes 80cm canvases. All have been designed and built by me.
